Sandbag has serviced the world tours of artists playing to more than 3m fans, working with artists as diverse as Dolly Parton and The xx.
The tour team works closely with the production and design departments and client to ensure the range is suitable for each particular audience. This allows us to maximise sales whilst maintaining the artist’s unique vision.
We specialise in creating innovative tailor-made products & merchandise ranges. Our ethical stance is of paramount importance to us: ensuring every product we produce is responsibly sourced. Alongside our bespoke manufacture services, we offer a range of “off the shelf” product and ensure that all of our supply chains are fully audited & transparent.
In addition to our merchandise production, Sandbag are experts in producing innovative packaging solutions from initial concept and design to manufacture and fulfilment, through to final delivery, this includes CD, DVD & Vinyl formats as well as Super Deluxe Boxsets. Sandbag are Grammy award winners in this field.

Radiohead In Rainbows Boxset

In 2007 Mel Maxwell and Christiaan Munro were part of the small team involved with setting up the ‘pay what you want’ model for Radiohead’s release of In Rainbows on-line. One of the items offered was a high end deluxe boxset. The boxset took many months to plan, manufacture and execute shipment globally and it was a great success at every level.
In 2009 Mel and Christiaan were delighted to be nominated for a Grammy Award in the category Best Boxed/Special Limited Edition alongside Stanley Donwood for the production of the In Rainbows boxset. Being nominated in itself was absolutely fantastic so to then win the Grammy was breathtaking and an accomplishment they truly treasure. In 2011 the high end product known as The Newspaper Album was also nominated for the same award and while alas it didn’t win, as a company we are so proud to be involved in such fantastic projects which challenge and excite all the way.
The boxset itself is comprised of a bespoke discbox with full colour booklet, 2 x 180gm vinyl and 2 x CD housed in this beautiful sleeve.
